Welcome to Hidden Island! We are new owners, Doug and Marilyn. We are so excited about Hidden Island Resort and the potential to be a part of your Canadian island adventure. We have had a fantastic time with our “fisher-people” at the Royal Dutchman Resort near Baudette, MN and feel that this is taking our opportunity to the next level.

The 10-mile boat ride out to Hidden Island is where your experience begins. Winding through the islands of rock & trees, watching the wildlife, is a great way to start shedding the stress of all you leave behind for a few days with us.

Hidden Island is nestled under the southwest tip of Miles Island and extremely well sheltered from all directions.

Our lodge is a log structure built in the 1940’s and is loaded with character. One can only imagine the sharing (meals and stories) that has occurred within those log walls. The rustic guest accommodations are a combination of log and rough lumber construction and offer clean and comfortable sleeping quarters with modern 3-piece bathrooms in all.

We are installing a water treatment system to treat all piped water on the island to consumable standards and have plans to remodel some bathrooms as time allows.
We are planning on many upgrades to the camp over the next years and look forward to sharing the changes with our guests.
